WEEKLINE

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

This policy explains how nextlinecode handles information in Weekline, the weekly planner formerly named Alarmu, on iOS and Android.

1. Operator and contact

The service operator is nextlinecode. For privacy questions or requests, email nextlinecode@gmail.com. Weekline does not require a Weekline account.

2. Plans and preferences on your device

Event titles, dates, notes, checklists, completion status, repeat rules, reminders, themes and Pro status are stored on your device. The app does not upload your schedule contents to a nextlinecode server. Smart date and time entry is processed on the device.

3. Usage analytics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records screen views and actions such as creating, editing or completing an event, changing weeks and selecting themes. Custom event parameters include the entry method, repeat type and number of reminders; they do not include event titles, notes or checklist text.

The SDK may also collect app-instance and device identifiers, app and operating-system versions, language, session and purchase events, and approximate region. Advertising identifiers may be processed when available under platform settings. Network services process IP addresses to deliver requests. We use analytics to understand usage and improve the app. The current app does not display advertising.

4. Purchases and support

Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. Weekline receives product, transaction and entitlement information to unlock or restore Pro. We do not receive your full payment-card details or store-account password.

If you contact us, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to attach to answer your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary schedule contents or sensitive information.

5. Notifications, widgets and backup files

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Event details can appear in notifications and widgets, including on the lock screen, depending on your settings. Widget data is shared with the operating system and the app’s widget extension.

The app creates local backup files when schedules change. Export uses the system share sheet: data goes to the destination you choose, such as a file provider or cloud drive. Exported JSON files contain readable schedule contents. Device backups may also include app data under your operating-system settings.

6. Providers and processing abroad

Google processes analytics data, Apple and Google provide store services, and your selected file or email provider handles data you send through it. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their terms and applicable safeguards. We do not sell your schedule contents.

This policy website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical access information, including IP addresses and request logs. We have added no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies to these pages.

7. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until it is deleted from app storage. Deleting an event does not necessarily remove older local backups. Removing the app or clearing its data generally removes its local data; exported files, device/cloud backups and operating-system caches must be managed separately.

Analytics retention follows the connected Google Analytics property’s configured retention rules. Aggregated reports may be retained differently. Uninstalling the app does not automatically erase previously collected analytics or store transaction records. Contact us for the applicable retention setting or a deletion request. Store records follow Apple’s or Google’s retention and legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.

8. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete events, remove widgets, control notification previews and permissions, and manage exported files and device backups. The current version does not have an in-app analytics opt-out switch. Device advertising settings do not necessarily stop all analytics collection.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of personal data, and complain to your local privacy authority. Email us to make a request. We may need limited information to identify the relevant records; without an app account, some analytics records cannot be linked to your email. We cannot access schedule data stored only on your device.

9. Children, security and changes

Weekline is a general-purpose planner and is not specifically directed at children. A parent or guardian can contact us about information submitted by a child. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no device or transmission method is completely secure.

We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. The effective date appears above; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
